My deep gratefulness to Saman, who really did our journey throughout Iran (driving all the way)!

His kindness, politeness, availability, patience, organisation and suggestions allowed us to both visit all cities and milestones and  get off track to minor attractions and deviations decided at the very last minute by a pretty whimsical group

We got lucky to be in Yazd just after the Ashura. Saman invited us to a mourning chants event (which he co-organised). Not only did we get fed at it, but we even were given some memmorabilia! (Most prominently, a tiny nakhl and a persian tablecloth with quotes from Husayn.) He also gave us great tips for moving around Yazd. Thanks to him we saw more commemorative events in front of a nearby mosque on the next day too -- we even got invited to the mosque's basement kitchen (which turned out to also have a gym there) for a meal... Our stay in Yazd was very memorable.We stayed at a lovely hostel managed by Saman and he was a kind and thoughtful host. Apart from a spacious room, we were treated to tea and a meal at one point. Saman is not only a friendly and honest person (as almost all Iranians seem to be), but is a very articulate and has an excellent command of English. A much recommended guide and a host!

Saman is an amazing tour guide and an amazing host. Super kind and a very educated person. He helped us with the booking of the accomodation and travel for the cities that followd Yazd and was always in touch to check if everything was ok with us.  

 We spent unforgettable days in Yazd. Saman was very kind and helpful. He guided us to places we would never have found alone (we never even thought they exist :-) ). Also he helped us to get to Shiraz. He arranged a driver and we visited Persepolis etc. on our way. Thanks a lot!

Saman  is both educated arcitect and a certified tourguide. So if you are interested and building history or building technicues he is the perfect guide. If you are not intersted in buildings but just want to see the city he is also a good guide and e have contacts in other cities as well.
