We had a great day in Rio with Carlos. Despite it was cloudy and intermittent raining, tour around Rio was very interesting. A lot of country and city history, nice chat. Carlos speaks fluent english - You will not be dissapointed if choose Carlos to be Your guide. It's not only about knowing history, but very warm and charming person himself. You can find a lot of things to talk about while driving or waiting for transfer. We loved every minute of our tour and all my familly says - Thank You Carlos, You are great.

Carlos took four of us on two full days of touring his fabulous city.  We were 3 different nationalities and all of us thought Carlos’ English was incredibly easy to understand as he speaks fluently and with little to no accent. 

Carlos has a love and pride for Rio that shines through as he describes each site, it’s history and the possible future.  He is extremely honest about his thoughts and desires for the city he loves so much and with his boundless knowledge, it makes his tours come alive.  

We managed to tour 12 hours the first day and 9 the second and felt every minute was important and actually ended up wishing we had longer.  When we reached Rio, we had been traveling for a month and were close to being overloaded with previous tour information but Carlos was so excited and energized about each place that it gave us more energy and we ended our two days thinking how thankful we were to have had Carlos as our final tour guide of our trip.  He was by far the best out of the dozen or so we had used across South America and we recommend him highly and without reservation.  

What a special city Rio de Janeiro is and how fortunate they are to have Carlos Cardoso as their representative.

We had great time in Rio with Carlos. Hespeaks fluent English, is punctual and personable. Communication was very efficient, Carlos was prompt to answer my numerous questions and provided useful logistical info. As aresult,our tour was builtvery efficiently, we were able to avoidcrowds at themain attractions andmaximize our time in Rio. We appreciated that Carlos paid attention to details, from smallest, such as which side of a train was better to be on to catch a beautiful view, to the crucial, such as traffic and parking situation in Rio. He was very resourceful in minimizing the impact of Rio’s negatives and enhancing its positives for us. It is obvious Carlos not only loves his city, but also knows verywell its history, people, traditions. He is very generous with his time, we were already over the tour agreed time, but Carlos wanted to continue and show us another sight.

Thanks to Carlos’s knowledge, friendly and sincere demeanor our first visit to Rio was easy, worry free, and very enjoyable.
