A great experience with Jonas.He understood our need (we were 3 photographers and would like discover Ganvie and local people life and use). He didn't hesitate to suggest some visit, some meeting, some great discoveries.

Jonas has been an excellent compagnon, guide and translator during the 6 weeks in which I explored the stilt villages of lake Nokoué, So-Ava and the wider South of Benin. He is friendly, knowledgable, responsible and good-hearted. Jonas knows the commune and it's people as no other, and is eager to share it cultural richness with visitors. I shared many nice moments, conversations and meals with Jonas, who is well-versed in French and fluent in English. I can only recommend working with Jonas when visiting Ganvié and surroundings. 

Jonas showed us around the Ganvié village at lake Nokoué and created a wonderful trip for us. We explored the pole village in canoe, getting out several times to explore a small island or the local floating bar. Jonas knows the village and its people very well, which gave a nice personal touch to the tour and allows for a better insider view than your typical guide. We spoke mostly french with him, but he also speaks English well. Lovely day!
