My wife and I spent the afternoon and evening in Schwerin in transit between Hamburg and Berlin.  We had the opportunity to secure Teresa as a guide for the afternoon to visit the castle as well as tour the city center area--and we could not have been any happier with our choice.  Not only was Teresa extremely friendly and  knowledgeable but since she has been a lifelong resident of the city and of an age to have experienced life both before and after the Russian occupation of East Germany by her and her family, she was able to offer many interesting insights and a perspective of life during these times.

My wife and I are from the US and are english speaking so it was especially nice to have a guide who was totally fluent in English, along with several other languages.  While walking around the city, Teresa met and said hello to many residents and even introduced us to the mayor of Schwerin. In fact, Teresa and her husband live literally several doors away from the hotel we were staying in.

We spent almost three weeks traveling throughout Germany and utilized guides ( from another organization) for the majority of our days in the other cities.  I can honestly tell you that Teresa was by far the most pleasant and informative guide of any that we encountered during our trip. In fact, we have traveled extensively throughout Eruope and Asia the past ten years or so and Teresa is one of the finest tour guides we have ever experienced.  We were truly pleased to have found her and to have allowed her to show us all the special aspects of this very charming city.  We could not speak any more highly of her.
