I was a solo traveller in Uzbekistan in Septemberand Nilufar Nuriddinova was one of the best guides during my trip! We got in touch in August and immediately she started helping me with the organisation of my tour through this beautiful country. She provided many great hints for places to see and how to get around and even prepared a schedule for me and send it by e-mail in advance. So I promised to book her as my guide while in Buchara and also decided to do a cooking masterclass, which she arranged for me in a nearby village.

It was the perfect match and we became friends when we finally met in person. I was not only impressed by her knowledge about the sights/history in this amazing city and the way she guided me but also by Nilufar herself - her excellent English skills, empathy and feeling for her guests needs. She is an incredible woman who provides a deep & lively insight into the Uzbekean culture and always tries her best to make things happen - like helping me with my special requests concerning souvenir shopping and PCR test arrangements. Thanks to Nilufar I had a wonderful time in Buchara, one of the most beautiful places in this country - its like a fairytale from 1001 nights. As a cultural anthroplogist I was especially interested in the people, cultures and politics of Uzbekistan and eager to learn about daily life in the cities and countryside. Nilufar answered all my questions (also difficult ones) and it is her "fault" that I will probably come back some day. I was very glad to meet such an open minded and independent woman and therefore deeply recommend her as a guide. Trust me, she is great! ;-)
