Day 1: Bukittinggi to Mount Marapi expand_more
Meet with your professional guide at the hotel around 08:00 or 09: 00. An optional meeting point is Padang Minangkabau Airport.
Start from Bukittinggi city and drive to Koto Baru.
Register yourself and get the permit at Koto Baru to start the hike.
Hike to the resting point at an altitude of 2650 above sea level.
Take a long break, enjoy the sunset and sleep.
Overnight camping.

Day 2: Mount Marapi to Bukittinggi expand_more
Start the hike to the summit early, at around 05:00 or 06: 00.
Spend some time on the summit, watch the sunrise and explore around the crater.
Walk back down to the base, which will be a straight 5-hour descend.
Drive back to Bukittinggi.
Reach the hotel in Bukittinggi at 16:00.
