Description

Spend a day in the port city of Balikpapan, with a visit to Orangutan rehabilitation centre. This Rehabilitation centre was found in the year 1964 to rehabilitate orphaned Orangutans. Today, around 60-80 orangutans live freely in this reserve. Enjoy a walk at Bangkirai Hill and visit other famous tourist spots on this 10 hours tour of the city.

    • Pick-up at 06.30 am, followed by transfer to Samboja Lodge for about one hour.

    • Visit orangutan island during feeding time of these primates.

    • Continue the tour with a visit to Sun Bear Sanctuary and Office Tower.

    • Continue the trip to Bangkirai Hill. Bukit Bangkirai is a forest conservation centre that has a canopy bridge from the tree to another tree, 64 meters length and 30 meters height from the ground.
