    • Arrive in Berau from Balikpapan/Samarinda by flight. Meet your English-speaking Indonesian guide at a predecided location.

    • Visit the museum and trace the culture and history of the local people. 

    • Depart for Wahau, a small city in Muara Wahau district.

    Overnight stay in Wahau.

  • Day 2: Explore the jungles in Wahau expand_more

    • Early morning visit to the traditional market to buy everything you need in the jungle.

    • Depart for the Wehea Protection Forest in a comfortable car. The forests are home to the Bornean Orangutans. There are as many as 750 orangutans there.

    • Trek in the jungle and overnight stay.

  • Day 3: Witness the Borneo Waterfall expand_more

    • Early morning, after breakfast, visit the Borneo waterfall. Enjoy this nature's gift and click pictures of the scenic landscape.

  • Day 4: Venturing out of the jungle expand_more

    • After breakfast, venture out of the jungle.

    • Depart for Berau where the airport will connect you to your next trip.

  • The roads in the jungle can be very bad during the rainy season.

  • An optional visit can be arranged to the Dayak village to see their culture. You might also get to see their traditional dance.
