Description
Here's what's waiting: Climb aboard a safari boat that floats better than you do. Glide past herds of buffalo and elephants who are very committed to happy hour. They drink. You watch. It's a whole vibe.
Then? The money shot. The exact point where the Chobe River meets the Zambezi. Four countries collide in one view. Botswana. Namibia. Zambia. Zimbabwe. You can literally wave to four nations without leaving your seat. Try doing that at a border crossing.
Oh, and the lions and hyenas?
They'll be doing their thing along the banks of other national parks as you cruise past. It's like a wildlife buffet, and you're the VIP with the best seat.
Itinerary
-
Chobe River Safari Cruise
- Meet the tour guide, who will pick you up from the airport (or hotel or any other desired location). Receive the briefing on the tips to be safe and how to enjoy during the tour, what to bring, what to wear and what to do and what not to do.
- Board the vehicle, and drive about 75 km to the Botswana border. During our way, the driver or guide will be helping you to spot wildlife on the way when passing through Zambezi National park and Victoria Falls National Park. We can slow down or stop for some pictures. You are likely to see animals like Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes and Hyenas.
- Reach the border of Botswana, where we provide our passports and covid19 vaccination cards if required.
- Get to the Chobe river site, where we are going to meet our Botswana correspondents, where we have yet another briefing. Get into the standard boat and sail over the Chobe river, where we will be looking for some wildlife; they are not hard to find, especially in the afternoon due to the weather. They will want to have a drink and cool off in the water. The guide will help you spot wildlife you won’t be able to spot on your own. You are going to see animals like Elephants by the water, Buffalos, Hippos and Zebras. Basically, you see all kinds of animals during this tour of the Chobe river.
- See the place where the Chobe joins the Zambezi river, which is the place that marks the division of 4 countries, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia and Namibia.
- End the tour with our team dropping you off at your destination (lodges/hotels/guest houses).
