Description

Get to Elephant Eye Lodge from Victoria Falls for this wildlife experience. The lodge will serve as the base for your wildlife and community expeditions. The lodge is located close to a watering hole, so even when you are not on a game drive, you can still spot all kinds of wild animals.

  • Day 1 : Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park expand_more

    • Depart from Victoria Falls at 07:00 am, driving to Elephant Eye Camp in Hwange National Park. The drive will take about 2 hours 30 mins (180 km) along Bulawayo road.

    • Expected arrival time will be 10:00 am. On arrival, get a briefing and sign indemnity forms. You will be shown to your rooms to settle in. Have lunch at 1 pm. Enjoy watching animals coming to the water hole.

    • 3 pm: Go on an afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge in time for dinner. The game drive will take 3 hours. Enjoy free time till dinner.

    Dinner will be served at 7pm.

  • Day 2 & 3 : Hwange National Park expand_more
    • Go on a full-day game drive or morning and afternoon game drives, depending on the guide’s recommendation. Decide on how you prefer to spend the time. The following activities are available:
      • 3-hour game walks
      • Game drives either in the afternoon or morning
      • Painted dog conservation centre tour
      • Community upliftment tour

    Breakfast will be served at 6 am.

    Dinner and lunch will be at the lodge, depending on the activity you choose. Sometimes lunch is served during game drives in the park.

  • Day 4 : Return to Victoria Falls expand_more

    • Have breakfast at 6 am before concession or morning game drive. Return to camp at around 10 am for brunch.

    • Head back to Victoria Falls at 11 am. The drive will take about 2 hours 30 minutes. The expected time of arrival in Victoria is 2:00 pm. Then, transfer to your hotel or lodge in Victoria Falls.
