Itinerary

1. Day 1 – Travel to Central Kafue and Game Drive

   • Depart from Lusaka early in the morning.

   • Drive through scenic landscapes toward Central Kafue National Park.

   • Set up camp upon arrival in the park.

   • Embark on an evening game drive to spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, and antelopes.

2. Day 2 – Early Morning Game Drive and Optional Safari Activities

   • Wake up early and head out for a dawn game drive to track predators and view birdlife.

   • Return to camp for brunch and some relaxation time.

   • Choose an afternoon walking safari or boat cruise on the Kafue River.

   • Unwind in the evening around the fire.

3. Day 3 – Transfer to Northern Kafue and Game Viewing

   • Break camp and drive through the park toward the northern sector.

   • Arrive at the new campsite and set up camp in a different environment.

4. Day 4 – Full-Day Game Drive in Northern Kafue

   • Set off for a full-day game drive into key wildlife zones in the north.

   • Explore predator-rich areas known for lions, cheetahs, and large elephant herds.

   • Pause for a picnic lunch in a scenic bush location.

   • Return to camp for dinner and enjoy storytelling around the fire.

5. Day 5 – Walking Safari and Optional Fishing or River Cruise

   • Begin the day with a guided walking safari near the camp.

   • Identify tracks, spot birds, and learn about the environment on foot.

   • Rest and enjoy lunch back at camp.

   • Participate in a fishing trip or sunset river cruise.

   • Spend the final night stargazing and relaxing at the campfire.

6. Day 6 – Return to Lusaka

   • Pack up and leave the northern camp.

   • Stop for final wildlife sightings or souvenir shopping on the way.

   • Arrive in Lusaka by evening and conclude your Kafue adventure.
