I am a qualified and registered tour guide.  I have a full-time job with a blue chip company but am doing guiding in my spare time as a hobby and for the love of it.    

Although the tourist’s safety is of utmost importance during each tour, I believe that it is also the fun and enjoyment aspects which make the tourist a good ambassador and the best source of marketing for the tour operator.  I love working with people and selling our beautiful country.  I have traveled extensively around the world and believe that all my travels have made me appreciate other cultures and also helps to understand them.  This also enables me to relate issues to the tourists' reference framework.  A tourist guide is an entertainer, rather than a person who only conveys information to travelers.
