Day 01

Johannesburg to Kruger National Park via the Panorama Route

  • Meet your tour guide and drive from Johannesburg east towards the province of Mpumalanga.
  • Travel via Witbank and Lydenburg, then take your first sightseeing tour along the Panorama Route and visit the viewpoint at God's Window.
  • Continue directly to Kruger National Park.

Day 02

Game Drives in Kruger National Park

  • Go on a morning game drive with the hope of spotting the Big Five and various antelope species.
  • After the game drive, return to the lodge and enjoy free time until the afternoon.
  • Begin the afternoon game drive in our vehicle for about three hours.

Day 03

Kruger to Eswatini and Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary

  • Leave Kruger National Park and drive through the small town of Malelane to Swaziland.
  • En route, stop at Matsamo Cultural Village, located right on the border of South Africa and Swaziland, where you will learn about Swazi culture and have a traditional village lunch.
  • After lunch, cross the border and continue through Swaziland to your accommodation at Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary.

Day 04

Eswatini to St Lucia via Zululand

  • Leave Swaziland and drive back to South Africa.
  • Complete the border formalities, then continue to Zululand. There are no planned activities today. If time permits, visit iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a World Heritage Site.
  • Arrive at the lodge in the afternoon.

Day 05

Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Drive and St Lucia Sunset Cruise

  • Start with a morning game drive in Hluhluwe Umfolozi Park, which is 15 km from the lodge. Before the afternoon, drive back to the lodge.
  • Take a sunset cruise at iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a World Heritage Site.

Day 06

Journey to the Southern Drakensberg

  • Depart early for the long drive to the Southern Drakensberg.
  • If you arrive early at your accommodation, there will be time for hiking in the Drakensberg Mountains.

Return to Johannesburg
