- Pick up from the hotel at 7:30 am.
Travel along the N2 highway towards the Gordons' Bay coastline that offers good opportunities for photographs and whale watching.
Visit the African Penguin colony in Betty's Bay, a great place to see the flightless birds in their natural environment.
Arrive at the coastal town of Hermanus.
Drive along its coastline looking for the best sightings of Southern Right whales, who visit the bay annually during the calving season.
Take a lunch break at one of the many little restaurants dotted along the coastline, overlooking the huge bay area.
Travel along the 85 km coastline towards the city.
Continue to search the coastline for the Southern right whales on the way back.
Stop for a wine tasting session at one of the coastal wine estates in the region.
Arrive at Cape Town at approximately 6:00 pm.
End of the tour.
