I’m Lance, born and raised in beautiful Cape Town, fondly known as the Mother City.This has always been home, and I’ve grown up surrounded by the cultures, stories, and landscapes that make South Africa so unique.Sharing that with others has become more than just a career, it’s something I genuinely love.

As a certified cultural guide, I focus on creating experiences that feel personal, relaxed, and thoughtfully put together.Whether we’re exploring well-known landmarks, discovering quieter hidden corners, or adding a touch of light adventure along the way, my aim is for you to feel comfortable, well looked after, and free to enjoy every moment.

My background includes training and experience in VIP security, mainly as a security chauffeur and transfer specialist, often working in higher-risk environments.I believe this adds real value to what I offer, giving guests an extra sense of ease while they explore.These experiences have shaped the way I guide, with attention to detail, calm awareness, and a strong sense of responsibility for the people I host.

Interestingly, it was my time working on film sets, where I spent many years before becoming a registered guide, that first sparked my passion for this path.I found myself naturally sharing stories and tips about Cape Town with cast and crew, many of whom were visiting from abroad.Over time, those connections grew, which is why many of my guests today come from the U.S.I love learning about other cultures so do drop me a note if you are from elsewhere..

Now, I feel incredibly fortunate to spend my days introducing visitors to the incredible variety South Africa has to offer, from its striking scenery and exciting activities to its rich culture, fine wine and unforgettable food.
