I was born in Cape Town and have been married for 32 years.I opted for early retirement 3 years ago and embarked on a journey to rediscover my birthplace.I fell in love with this beautiful country I lived in all my life and saw it with different eyes compared to 30 years ago.  My husband and I have lived through the struggles of the apartheid era and us proud South Africans who would not dream of living anywhere else. We have 3 children.Our son is 32 years old and graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Ph.D.degree.He is a Medical Research Scientist.Our middle daughter is an Occupational Therapist and also graduated from the University of Cape Town with Honours degree.Then our youngest is in her 5th year of doing her MBChB degree at the University of Stellenbosch.All I want to do is show off and share my birthplace with its rich history and heritage with the rest of the [sensitive content]doing so I also meet people from all over the world and have built lasting relationships.
