Meet your tour guide and walk around the waterfront from the Two Oceans Aquarium to the Big Wheel and all the way to the Nelson Mandela Gateway to embark on the Robben Island Tour.
Go on a ferry ride to Robben Island (approximately 3.5 hours). Once there, enjoy a short walk to buses that will transport you to all the historical sites around the Island. On the way to the buses, you will pass buildings and a high wall built by prisoners during the 1960s.
From there, return to the city centre to explore the best of the Cape Town, and experience the rich history and heritage the city has to offer.
Discover the quaint and vibrant streets of the Mother City. Starting from Darling Street to Castle of Good Hope, you will learn about how the city came about.
The tour will take you up to Buitenkant & Roeland Street where you will see some of the original buildings; the old granary, the parliament, the President’s office (not open to the public). Then on to Church Square, Slave Lodge and a much needed stroll in the Company’s Gardens.
Then, proceed to the Planetarium, and walk past the shortest mountain pass, Grey’s Pass. Take a walk down Long Street through to Greenmarket Square and St. George’s Mall and enjoy beautiful views of the majestic Table Mountain to complete the tour.
