I grew up during Apartheid and experienced the new democracy. I believe in telling the full picture about South Africa, not just the pretty sites which we will see in any case. I tell all what is good, as well as all that is bad so that the tourist can leave with a greater understanding of the dynamics of South Africa. I enjoy nature walks in my free time, as Cape Town is surrounded by mountains, and spectacular natural scenery. I also enjoy reading and spending time with friends and family and I am married to a tour guide. My father being a research cardiologist overseas, I have travelled to countries like Geneva, Pisa, and Stanford.
