Itinerary

1. Day 1: Johannesburg - Kruger National Park

   • Start at Johannesburg International Airport and head to Kruger National Park. The drive is about 6 hours. 
   • We make break stops along the way. 
   • After arriving in Kruger, we check-in and have a short orientation of the camp. 
   • Around 4 pm, we will have a short sunset safari and return to the camp before the gate close.

2. Day 2: Kruger National Park

   • We start early in the morning (5 am), do a safari (game drive) until 9 am and drive back to the lodge for breakfast. 
   • After breakfast, we have time to walk around the camp or relax along the restaurant deck and watch animals. 
   • We have another sunset safari from 3 pm to 5 pm.

3. Day 3: Kruger National Park

   • The second day in Kruger Park gets underway early. We try to maximize our chances of spotting big cats and other active animals at night or before sunrise. 
   • After the game drive, we will have brunch at the restaurant and relax for the rest of the day. 
   • Explore the option of night game drives and walking safaris which can be booked in advance or through the reception.

4. Day 4: Graskop - Blyde River Canyon

   • We leave the camp/lodge after breakfast and do a game drive towards the exit of Kruger, heading to Graskop. 
   • Next, we will visit the Mac Mac Falls, God´s Window & Blyde River Canyon and Bourkes Luck Potholes. 
   • Our lodge offers a nice view of the landscape and the gorge with an option to do a swing (canopy tours).

5. Day 5: Johannesburg

   • Leave Graskop after breakfast and drive through Pilgrims rest, one of the oldest mining sites in South Africa dating back to the 1840s. 
   • Continue driving to Johannesburg, making break stops along the way.
   • Arrive in Johannesburg late in the afternoon.
