Full-Day Itinerary: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Hanoi
- 07:00 – 07:30: Meet the tour guide and driver for hotel pickup in Hanoi.
07:30 – 10:00: Travel by comfortable vehicle from Hanoi to Ninh Binh City.
10:30: Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, the first capital of Vietnam. Learn about the historical reasons behind the relocation of the capital to present-day Hanoi. Admire the outstanding architecture of the temples of King Dinh and King Le, the first and second emperors of ancient Vietnam, constructed in the 17th century. Experience the tranquil and ancient atmosphere of this historic site.
11:30: Continue the tour with a 45-minute cycling activity around the village to discover the daily lives of local people and observe the rural countryside.
12:30: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant featuring a variety of regional dishes such as goat meat and fried rice. Vegetarian food is always available.
13:30 – 14:00: Visit Trang An, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2014. Explore its remarkable tunnel cave system, famously chosen as a filming location for the 2016 movie Kong: Skull Island. Take a scenic boat trip through Trang An to admire limestone landscapes, green rivers, and caves, including Sang Cave (Light Cave), Toi Cave (Dark Cave), and Nau Ruou Cave (Cooking Wine Cave).
16:00: Transfer by bus to Mua Cave, also known as Dancing Cave. Climb nearly 500 steps to reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain and enjoy a spectacular panoramic view over Tam Coc and the surrounding countryside.
17:30: Board the bus and begin the return journey to the hotel in Hanoi.
19:00: Arrive at the hotel. End of the tour.
