Hoa Lu and Tam Toc Highlights
Pick-up from Hanoi’s Old Quarter by bus, followed by a 2-hour drive from Hanoi to Hoa Lu via the lush countryside of Ninh Binh.
Spend some time exploring Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam, with its two famous temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le. Learn more about the history of Vietnam dating back thousands of years.
Proceed to the Tam Coc Caves located at a distance of 16 kilometres from Hoa Lu, where you will have a lavish buffet lunch at a local restaurant.
Set out for a relaxing sampan boat ride in Tam Coc, famous as 'Halong Bay on land. The 90-minute boat ride offers you endless photo opportunities.
Go through the Tam Coc Caves and pass the rice fields where you will have a chance to take nice photos of scenery and local people working on the riverside.
Return to the dock and take a short break before cycling for approximately 45 minutes along country lanes to enjoy the beautiful scenery of lush paddy fields.
Return to Hanoi in a shuttle bus.
