Explore the Vietnamese countryside and various caves
- Head to Ninh Binh from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.
- Travel with your tour guide to Hoa Lu, which remained the ancient capital of Vietnam till the early 11th Century when Emperor Ly Thai To moved it to today’s Hanoi.
- Walk to the temples of the Dinh and Le Dynasty.
- Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant in Tam Coc.
- Take a boat ride on the Ngo Dong river and tour of the three Magical Grottos: Hang Ca (First Grotto), Hang Hai (Second Grotto), Hang Ba (Third Grotto).
- Bike around Tam Coc in 30-45 minutes. If you travel during the harvest season, you will see many rice fields filled with golden colour.
- Relish the view from the top of Mua Cave, a destination often compared to the Great Wall of China. Walk 500 steps to reach the top of the cave and take in the beautiful view.
