8.00-8.30 AM: Meet your tour guide at your hotel or your preferred location within the Old Quarter of Hanoi and head to Ninh Binh by a modern, air-conditioned shuttle bus. (2 hours drive)
10.30-11.00 AM: Arrive at Hoa Lu, the former capital city of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries with your Vietnam guide. Begin by visiting the two temples dedicated to the kings from Dinh and Le dynasties.
12:00 PM: Arrive at a riverside restaurant. Enjoy lunch served in buffet style with many choices of food, especially Ninh Binh traditional food, goat meats and fresh vegetables.
1:30 PM: Enjoy the most exciting activity of the trip – a sampan boat trip for around 2 hours. You will take a relaxing boat trip along Ninh Binh’s iconic Ngo Dong river with both sides covered in rice fields. During the boat ride, you will be taken through 3 caves, known as Tam Coc. Ride a bicycle to enjoy the extraordinary beauty of the countryside.
4:00 PM: Departure from Tam Coc.
6:00 - 7:00 PM: Arrive back in Hanoi.
