Itinerary

1. Day 1: Visit from Hanoi to Sapa

   • 06:30-07:00: Meet your tour guide and depart for Sapa from Hanoi.

   • 09:30: Take the first break on the highway to Lao Cai city.

   • 11:00: Take the second break at Lao Cai city before approaching Sapa.

   • 13:00: Arrive at Sapa Town and see the colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic people.

   • Enjoy lunch in local Vietnamese places and check in to the hotel.

   • 14:30- Take a short drive to the gate of Cat Cat village, which is home to black H’mong ethnic people. It is located near the valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. 

   • Trek down towards the valley, situated at the bottom of a waterfall where the French built a hydraulic power station.

   • Walk uphill for the bus and depart for Sapa.

   • 16:30: Arrive at Sapa Town.

2. Day 2: Trek to Lao Chai and Ta Van village

   • 07:00-07:45: Have breakfast at the hotel and pack a light lunch for a trek of 5 km.

   • 08:00: Drive to Y Linh Ho and trek through rice terraces along Muong Hoa Stream to the village of Lao Chai. The Black Hmong people live in this village from where you can see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain.

   • Trek to Ta Van village- home of Dzay ethnic people. The trekking distance is about 9 km.

   • 11:30: Take a bus from Ta Van Bridge to Sapa.

   • 12:00: Have lunch and explore Sapa town by yourself.

   • Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

3. Day 3: Visit Heaven's Gate and Silver waterfall

   • 06:00-08:00- Have breakfast at the hotel.

   • 08:00- Start a 12 km road trip up to Heaven's Gate, where you can witness the most beautiful mountain-pass scenery of Northern Vietnam.

   • Visit the Silver waterfall and salmon farm-fishing.

   • 11:00- Have lunch at the hotel and check out.

   • 15:15: Get on the bus to return to Hanoi.

   • 21:00: Arrive at Hanoi.
