    • A beautiful morning is waiting for you ahead. Get picked up and escorted by our guide. You will feel comfortable walking along the small and narrow streets in French colonial quarters to see houses with French architecture, the daily life of local people associated with shops, and small stalls selling everything. Hanoi is known for 36 streets and guilds built in the 15th to 18th century under the Le Dynasty. During different historical periods, the old Quarter had a varying number of guilds with specific streets. The walk will take you to guilds divided into 3 kinds: agriculture, handicraft and merchant.
    • Stroll along streets like Bong street, Gai street with silk and painting shops, Dao and Duong street for clothes and watches shop, Lo Ren street with blacksmiths, Hang Ma street with things made of paper offering to the dead, Hang thiec (Tin street), Hang Dong (Bronze street), Hang Bac (Silver street), you will see with your eyes activities and products selling directly at these streets.
    • Stop over at Dong Xuan and Bac Qua market to see local people trading, selling everything from fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, and animal to clothes, fabrics, and household equipment. Seeing Hanoians, Hanoi traffic in the small and narrow streets by sitting at a local coffee shop to taste Hanoi’s coffee flavour.
    • The next destination that can not be missed is a beautiful house at 87 Ma May street, an exquisite Chinese merchant’s home that was restored and opened as a museum. Lunch with Hanoi noodles at a local restaurant in Hang Be street.
    • In the afternoon, take a car to the Museum of Ethnology. The museum's extensive display is dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority people. The museum features an astounding collection of art and everyday objects with some 15000 artifacts gathered from throughout Vietnam. You can enter a traditional Black Thai house reconstructed within its ground by visiting this museum.
    • After that, leaving this museum, passing by the Ho Chi Minh complex, then head to the Temple of Literature founded in 1070 by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong, who dedicated it to Confucius to honour scholars and men of literary accomplishment. This is the first university in Vietnam, dating back to 1070. Inside are the stone stele mounted on the back of turtles, inscribed with the names of the university’s graduates. The complex is divided into 5 courtyards with different paths that would have been reserved for the Emperor and mandarins. One of the courtyards contains the statue of Confucius guarded by 2 beautiful bronze storks standing on turtles. The temple highlights the important influence that Vietnamese society has placed on education.
