Street Food Tasting by Scooter in Ho Chi Minh
Local students will take you by scooter to Vietnamese street food stalls at 5:30 pm or 1:00 PM, both great times to enjoy Ho Chi Minh's food scene. Almost all of the street food stalls chosen for this tour have a Food Safety and Hygiene license.
You will be picked up by scooter from your hotel, hostel, or apartment.
We recommend a list of tasty traditional Vietnamese cuisine that you should try on this tour:
Banh Xeo - Vietnamese Pancake: a crispy pancake combined with plenty of flavour from herbs and sauce.
Bi Cuon - Spring rice roll: served with vegetables and pork in pineapple sauce.
Bun Bo - Beef Noodle Soup: the second most famous dish in Vietnam, with broth cooked in local ways.
Banh Mi - Vietnamese Baguette: the world's most well-known dish in Saigon.
Nem Bo Nuong Sa - Grilled Beef with Lemongrass: a traditional dish in the south of Vietnam.
Banh Trang Cuon - Rolling Rice Paper: topped with ingredients such as boiled egg and salty fillings, wrapped with rice paper and dipped into tamarind sauce.
Banh Phong Nuong - Grilled Rice Paper: a cultural heritage dish that you can cook yourself with guidance from your guide.
Dessert - Cheese flan cake with coconut milk and Vietnamese coffee.
All eateries are authentic local Vietnamese street food stalls with a Government "Safe Food Certificate." The tour can also be customized for vegans.
