Meet your tour guide at your hotel around 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. and proceed to the Thien Mu Pagoda. The exquisite seven-story structure, also called the Pagoda of the Celestial Lady, was built in the 17th century and now stands as an iconic monument in the city of Hue.
Depart for Thuy Bieu Village. You will cycle through shady pomelo gardens to visit the following places:
The Luong Quan Temple, dedicated to the local village goddess
The garden house at 51 Thanh Nghi street
A family of local artists
A family of traditional incense stick makers
Savour a lunch prepared using local ingredients by skillful local women.
Learn to make pomelo skin jam with guidance from experts.
Visit Uncle Ho’s memorial house in Duong No village in the afternoon, post-lunch.
Take a leisurely stroll through the hundred-year-old Ru Cha mangrove forest, spread across four acres.
Get on a traditional sampan boat, ride to the Sam Chuon lagoon area and proceed to Tam Giang Lagoon, also known as the largest brackish water lagoon in Southeast Asia. Discover the biggest part of the Tam Giang Lagoon and observe locals' lives in the fishing villages around.
Enjoy a seafood dinner at Chuon Lagoon with local specialties such as the seafood pancake with kinh and crab soaked in Chuon wine.
Around 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., travel by boat around the lagoon to see stunning views of the sunset.
