Itinerary

1. Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa – Lao Chai Ta Van

   • 06:00 – 06:30 - Pick up from the hotel or at the meeting point and start the journey to Sapa by Limousine Bus, following Noi Bai – Lao Cai high-way. Along the way, you will have the chance to contemplate the beauty of northwest mountains, terraced fields sparkling in sunlight or dim in thick fog.

   • Have a short break for 30 minutes, then continue the trip to Sapa.

   • 13:00 - Arrive in Sapa, check-in at the hotel, followed by lunch.

   • After lunch, the Sapa tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and join the trek down to Lao Chai village to visit the Tay and Dzay, tribes. 

   • Keep going along the bottom of Muong Hoa valley to visit Ta Van village, home to the Dzay minority. It is the most beautiful ethnic village in the area.

   • Check into a homestay and get to know the family of the Dzay People.

   • Spend time enjoying the mountain scene while watching the sunset. You may join a local family and cook dinner.

   • In the evening, head to the nearby bar with music and socialize with other tourists.

   Stay overnight at the local homestay with the family. The accommodation for the evening is clean with essential bedding and mosquito nets, western toilet & shower. You will sleep on mattresses on the floor in a mixed-gender dormitory style.

2. Day 2: Giang Ta Chai villages – Sapa – Hanoi

   • Enjoy breakfast at the homestay. 08:00 - Start the day with an easy trek of 5 km to visit villages of the H’mong. The trekking will take you along local paths, up and down rice terraces and into the villages and homes of local hill tribes. Enjoy a beautiful waterfall and rattan bridge with picturesque landscapes through bamboo forest on the way to the main road to get the jeep to return to Sapa.

   • 14:00 - The bus will pick you up from Ta Van village to Sapa Town. Enjoy your free time in Sapa for refreshment.

   • 15:00 - The driver will be waiting for you for your short drive to Sapa town, where the staff will hand you a takeaway sandwich on the way to Hanoi.

   • 21:30 - Arrive in Ha Noi.
