Take a street food tour this evening with many guaranteed traditional, famous and local foods.
Start with a short cyclo tour from your hotel to the French Quarter area, just for tasting a Ổ Bánh Mỳ – a Vietnamese bread made in the French style.
Continue to Bún Chả and feast on roasted pork with vermicelli rice.
Decide between many delicious choices such as Bánh Xèo – dried pancakes, have crispy shells, full-filling with bean sprouts, beef and shrimp; Chả Nem – famous pork spring rolls when talking about Vietnamese traditional foods; Bánh Gối – crunchy pillow cakes, with yellow covers and sweet and mixed fragrant dumpling, are the best choice to try like a real local (1 of 3).
Keep going to a Phở Bò for rice noodle with beef.
Eat your desserts on the street which will be Chè thập cẩm, Vietnamese bean dessert, or Sữa Chua Mít, jackfruit mixed yoghurt, or even a Bia Hơi, Vietnamese draught beer like street men (1 of 3).
Stop at Café Trứng for Egg coffee. It is a really special coffee. Even though, you can find it in other Vietnamese cities such as Saigon, Hoi An, Danang but the oldest & most delicious one will be served in Hanoi, right on this tour.
