- Our Vietnamese local student guides will pick you up from the given address on motorbikes. We can also arrange pick-up at Saigon Opera House if required.
- After refreshing your taste buds with kumquat coconut or pineapple jam coconut in District 3, your guides will introduce you to fellow guests joining the food tour. Next, we will head to Le Van Tam Park to relish our signature dish papaya salad, an exclusive in our food tour.
- We will then move on to visit the Thich Quang Duc Monument in District 3 and hear the touching story of the monk who self-immolated in protest against the Buddhist persecution.
- Uncover Vietnam’s finest culinary gem in Vo Van Tan Street, "Chuoi nuong" made of grilled banana with coconut milk. Experience the blend of traditional sweet and salty flavors in tropical fruits and coconut milk sauce.
- Our next stop is Nguyen Thien Thuat, one of the oldest and huge apartment complexes in the city. Upon visiting the apartment you will witness how 3 to 4 generations live in a small apartment and understand more about Vietnamese life and culture. Here you have a chance to try our famous Bun Bo Hue and sing karaoke in a local house!
- Next, we go to Ho Thi Ky market which is the largest flower market in Ho Chi Minh City and also boasts a street food paradise. Sample authentic Vietnamese pizza, savor grilled beef with lemongrass, and enjoy a local cold beer.
- How can we miss Chinatown? Embark on a scooter ride through charming alleyways, passing fashion street’s cloth shops. Relish an authentic Banh Mi from a local vendor and indulge in one of the most popular street foods, Banh Xeo, in Chinatown.
- Lastly, culminate your food adventure at a beloved local dessert spot, Chè mâm Khánh Vy. You’re sure to fall in love with it!
- We then drop you off at your hotel or the Opera House to conclude the tour.
