Day 01

Arrival to Urgench and transfer to Khiva

  • Arrival: Arrive in Urgench in the morning, complete customs formalities, and transfer to Khiva.
  • Hotel Check-in & Rest: Early check-in (from 08:00) includes breakfast and free time to rest until 11:00. 
  • Ichan-Kala Fortress: Begin a guided sightseeing tour inside the walled old city, which is an open-air museum and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 
  • Kuhna Ark & Madrasahs: Visit the fortified citadel of Kuhna Ark, Madrasah Mukhammad Rahimkhan, and Madrasah Mukhammad Aminkhan (the largest in Central Asia). 
  • Kalta-Minor & Juma Mosque: Admire the unique glazed tile decoration of the iconic Kalta-Minor Minaret and the 215 wooden columns of the Juma Mosque.
    Lunch: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Day 02

Khiva - Bukhara

  • Morning Departure: Meet your driver and guide at 09:00 to depart for Bukhara.  

  • Kyzylkum Desert Drive: Cross the ancient Silk Road route through the Kyzylkum Desert, stopping along the way to view the desert landscape and the Amu Darya River.  

  • Lunch: Stop for lunch in a local restaurant along the way.  

  • Sitorai Mohi-Khosa: Arrive in Bukhara around 16:00 and visit the summer residence of the last Emir, featuring a blend of Oriental and Russian architecture.  

  • Evening: Hotel check-in, followed by dinner at a local restaurant and overnight stay.

Bukhara

  • Fayzulla Khojayev House: Start the city tour at 09:00 at the national-style house-museum of this prominent statesman.  

  • Labi Hauz Complex: Visit the historic water reservoir surrounded by the Kukeldash Madrasah, Khanaka, and Nodir Divan-Begi caravanserai.  

  • Ancient Mosques & Madrasahs: Discover the pre-Islamic roots of Magoki-Attori Mosque, the historic Ulugbek Madrasah, and the luxuriously decorated Abdulazizkhan Madrasah.  

  • The Trading Domes: Stroll through historic domed markets including Toki-Sarrafon, Telpak Furushon, Tim Abdullakhan, and Toki-Zargaron.  

  • Poi Kalon Complex: Marvel at the city's skyline dominated by the Kalon Minaret, Kalon Mosque, and the elegant Miri-Arab Madrasah.

Bukhara - Samarkand
