Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- You will after breakfast set off for an 8-9hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in the southwestern part of the country. You will have a stopover at the Equator where you will have an opportunity to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time and take photos. You will make another stopover for lunch and later proceed to Bwindi arriving in the evening for dinner and night stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- Today is the big day. It prepares you for encountering one of Bwindi's gentle giants, the rare mountain gorilla. Bwindi hosts gorillas and other species of primates, 113 mammals, over 200 butterfly species and 360 birds. En route to the gorillas, your guide will point out signs of the previous gorilla activity, including dung, nests, and chewed bamboo shoots. Tracking the gorillas can be as few as 2 hours to as many as 7 hours. Your track will be exciting along forested slopes, entwined vines, bushes and bamboo before you eventually reach the gorilla family. Once the gorillas have been located, your group will be allowed a maximum of 1 hour with them.
- After the trekking, you will rest and later have a Batwa community walk where you get to know the locals of Bwindi live their lives and know about the culture. Then dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- After an early morning breakfast at your lodge, check out and embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector, where, if lucky, you will see the tree-climbing lions with lunch en route.
- Please proceed to the park for a game drive where you will see different games like the warthogs, elephants, and antelopes before we proceed to your lodge for dinner and a night stay.

Day 4: Game drive and boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
- After your breakfast, you will have a game drive and get to see what you missed in the previous game drive after, have a boat ride on Kazinga channel where you will see some water animals like hippopotamus, crocodiles, bird species like shoebills, pelicans and jacana.
- Later, have lunch, and then embark on the journey to Kibale Forest National Park for dinner and a night stay.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park
- After breakfast, head to Kibale Forest with a packed lunch to view the primates. This activity begins at 8:00 a.m. with a briefing of the rule of tracking the chimpanzees after which you set off to search for them in the forest. The exercise takes half a day, and along the way, you will see other primates, such as grey-cheeked mangabeys, red colobus, blued tailed and red-tailed monkeys swinging in the branches of this thick forest.
- Your guide will give you informative briefings on the lifestyles of the primates you will be coming across and on the plants and insects.
- In the late afternoon, you shall have a nature walk in the Bigodi swamp. You will see butterflies, birds monkeys.
Then back to your lodge for dinner and a night stay.

Day 6: Transfer back to Entebbe
- After a relaxed breakfast, you shall check out of your lodge and embark on your journey back to Entebbe with lunch en route.
