Itinerary

1. Full-Day Itinerary: Lake Mburo National Park Safari from Entebbe

   Morning: Departure and Journey to Lake Mburo

   • Depart from Protea Hotel Entebbe at 6:30 a.m. with your guide for Lake Mburo National Park, located in western Uganda.

   • Travel westward across scenic savannah grasslands and rural towns, enjoying views of farmlands and traditional Ankole long-horned cattle.

   • Stop briefly at the Equator for photographs and to experience standing in both the northern and southern hemispheres.

   • Continue the journey toward the park, reaching the entrance by mid-morning.

   Late Morning: Game Drive in Lake Mburo National Park

   • Enter Lake Mburo National Park and begin a guided game drive through the acacia woodland and open plains.

   • Search for a variety of wildlife including zebras, impalas, elands, topis, warthogs, and buffaloes.

   • Observe bird species such as crested cranes, African fish eagles, and kingfishers along the game tracks.

   • Capture scenic views and enjoy the peaceful savannah environment.

   Afternoon: Lunch and Boat Cruise on Lake Mburo
