Day 1: Arrive in Kigali – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park (Rwanda)
- Be picked up from Kigali International Airport (before 1600hrs) or from your Hotel in Kigali.
Meet and greet with your assigned professional English-speaking Tour Driver-Guide.
Begin a scenic transfer journey to Musanze, located close to Volcanoes National Park in northwestern Rwanda.
Arrive at the booked accommodation and check in for overnight rest.
Optional (extra cost): If time permits, visit the Iby’Iwachu Cultural Village or enjoy an excursion to the Twin Lakes (Burera and Ruhondo).
Have dinner and overnight stay near Volcanoes National Park.

Day 2: Golden Monkey Trekking in Volcanoes NP – Cross to Bwindi, Uganda
- Have early breakfast and proceed to the RDB park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing.
Undertake golden monkey trekking within Volcanoes National Park.
Trek through the rainforest to encounter the rare and playful golden monkeys in their natural habitat.
Return to the lodge for rest and lunch.
After lunch, transfer to Cyanika Border Post.
Cross into Uganda and meet your Uganda-based Tour Driver-Guide.
Proceed to the booked lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Rushaga sector).
Have dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi – Return and Rest
- Wake up early and have breakfast.
Transfer to the park offices for a comprehensive briefing from a ranger-guide on gorilla trekking guidelines.
Enter the dense rainforest of Bwindi and embark on the gorilla trekking adventure.
Spend one unforgettable hour with the gorilla family once located.
Return to the lodge for lunch and well-deserved rest.
Optional (extra cost): If time and energy allow, enjoy a community visit or short nature walk in the surrounding area.
Have dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park – Afternoon Game Drive
- Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and check out.
Begin a 5-hour transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.
Arrive and check in to the accommodation near the park.
Later in the afternoon, embark on a game drive through the park.
Look out for species such as zebra, giraffe, eland, impala, buffalo, and possibly leopards.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Optional (extra cost – USD 30 per person): Join a night game drive to observe nocturnal wildlife activity.

Day 5: Morning Walking Safari – Transfer to Entebbe for Departure
- Rise early and enjoy breakfast.
Participate in a guided walking safari led by a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger.
Encounter wildlife such as zebras, topis, elands, giraffes, and buffaloes at close range on foot.
Return to the lodge for checkout and begin the journey to Entebbe.
Stop at the Equator crossing at Kayabwe for photographs and souvenir shopping.
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport in time for your flight (scheduled for 1800hrs or later).
