Itinerary

1. Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

   • Begin the journey with a morning pick-up from Entebbe or Kampala by your professional driver-guide.

   • Travel northwest through Uganda's countryside toward Murchison Falls National Park.

   • Proceed directly to the top of Murchison Falls to witness the Nile River forcing itself through a narrow 7-meter gorge with an extraordinary roar.

   • Enjoy panoramic views of the powerful falls and take photographs.

   • Check in at Paraa Safari Lodge and have lunch.

   • Spend the afternoon at leisure or enjoy the lodge's amenities.

   Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge.

   Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner.

2. Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

   • Have an early breakfast at the lodge.

   • Depart for a morning game drive in the northern sector of the park, known for its open savannah and abundant wildlife.

   • Spot animals such as Cape buffaloes, Rothschild giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, oribi, bushbuck, bohor reedbuck, lions, leopards, and hyenas.

   • Return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch.

   • In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile toward the base of the falls.

   • Observe hippos, crocodiles, and an array of water birds such as kingfishers, fish eagles, and herons.

   • Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Chobe Safari Lodge

   • Begin with an early morning coffee at 6:00 am.

   • Set out for a sunrise game drive for a chance to spot predators returning from a night hunt and other early risers like elephants and giraffes.

   • Return to Paraa Safari Lodge for a hearty breakfast.

   • Check out and transfer to the eastern section of the park en route to Chobe Safari Lodge.

   • Stop for lunch at Wankwar Gate.

   • Arrive at Chobe Safari Lodge in the afternoon and relax by the lodge’s riverside setting.

   Dinner and overnight at Chobe Safari Lodge.

4. Day 4: Nature Walk and Leisure Time

   • Start the day with an early morning guided nature walk along the banks of the Nile River.

   • Look out for hippos, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, and a variety of bird species.

   • Return to the lodge for breakfast.

   • Spend the rest of the day enjoying leisure time at the lodge’s swimming pool or spa.

   • In the evening, enjoy sunset drinks while watching hippos in the river and listening to the soothing sounds of the wilderness.

5. Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

   • Have a relaxed breakfast at the lodge.

   • Depart for Entebbe with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino trekking experience on foot.

   • Enjoy a hot lunch en route.

   • Continue the drive to Entebbe or Kampala, marking the end of your safari.
