Itinerary

1. Day 1 Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

   You will be met by your guide of the day at your hotel for a short briefing about your 3 Day Murchison Falls safari overview and then drive 4-5 hours to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey will take you for En-route lunch in Masindi or Kabalega. Proceed and enter the park with a visit to the top of the falls where you can see the Nile’s beauty perfected! Marvel at the Nile, compressing from 50 meters to squeeze through a 6-meter canyon dropping 40 meters with a thunderous roar. Have a game drive as you drive to the lodge where you will overnight.

2. Day 2 Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise

   You will cross the ferry to the northern part of part of Murchison Falls National Park for your early morning game drive. This northern part of Murchison Falls National Park known as Paraa is rich in wild game that include Lions, Buffaloes, Elephants, several Antelopes, Leopards and so much more. The delta region is also very rich with water animals such as Hippos, Crocodiles and the rare shoebill stock. Afterword’s, you will drive back to your lodge for lunch and then head for the afternoon boat cruise to the base of the falls. This boat cruise to the base of the falls is seen as the highlight of all activities at Murchison Falls National Park since many water and land animals can be sighted. Expect to see lots of Buffaloes, elephants, crocodiles, many water birds as you cruise up stream to the base of the falls where water squeezes itself into a narrow gorge to later explode as it flows down words. Return to the lodge for overnight.

3. Day 3 Delta Cruise on the Nile

   Early morning departure from the lodge with picnic Lunch and transfer to catch the morning boat at the Jetty point. While on this Dela cruise, you can spot several herds of buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Giraffes, Elephants, and several other wild animals that flock the river Nile to drink water. Not forgetting the several bird species that can as well be spotted while on the boat. You will in the afternoon have a game drive as you head to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.

4. Day 4 Chimp Trekking in Murchison

   After an early morning breakfast transfer to the ferry crossing point where you will cross with the 7:00 am ferry and proceed to the Budongo the head offices where you will be briefed on how the tracking is done. You will then be led by an experienced ranger guide who will take you through the tracking. You are advised to carry bottled water and snacks just in case the tracking takes long. After these chimpanzees have been got, you will be given a maximum of 1hr with them to enjoy the most thrilling experience. This chimp tracking will also give the bird watchers the opportunity to sight different bird species in the forest especially Budongo Forest. After you will go back to your lodge where you will be served lunch and relax a little after your amazing chimpanzee trekking.

5. Day 5 Transfer back to Entebbe

   End of this tour direction to airport or to Entebbe.
