Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Equator Line and Batwa Visit
- Get picked up by your tour guide/driver from Entebbe or Kampala.
- Begin a scenic 9 to 10-hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
- Stop at the equator line for photo opportunities and a relaxing lunch in Mbarara.
- Admire the lush countryside, terraced Kabale hills, and vibrant roadside markets.
- Visit a Batwa pygmy community and learn ancient forest survival skills such as fire-making and traditional weaving.
- Arrive and check in to your lodge near Bwindi.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and Lake Bunyonyi Sunset Cruise
- Wake up early and have a hearty breakfast.
- Head to the UWA briefing center where local performers may entertain you.
- Get assigned to a gorilla family and start the guided trek with armed rangers.
- Trek through dense forest trails for 1–3 hours, depending on gorilla location.
- Spend up to one hour observing gorillas in their natural habitat.
- Receive a gorilla trekking certificate upon completion.
- Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for afternoon relaxation.
- Enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the lake surrounded by dramatic hills and islands.
Day 3: Return to Entebbe with Equator Stop
- Depart after breakfast and begin your journey back to Entebbe.
- Pause again at the equator line for photos and souvenir shopping.
- Enjoy lunch en route and, if time allows, visit local craft markets.
- Get dropped off at the airport or your preferred location in Entebbe.
