Description
Embark on gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, which harbours around 120 mammal species, 400 plant species, 346 bird species, 202 butterfly species and many more. Also, explore Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its diverse wildlife species like tree-climbing lions. Head to Kibale National Park for chimpanzee trekking. Finally, pay a visit to the Lake Mburo National Park to see zebras, hippos and crocodiles.

Day 1: Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park
- Our driver-guide will meet you in Kampala at 7:00 am and take you west of the country to Lake Mburo National Park, stopping at the drum makers center called Mpambire and at the equator en route to take photographs.
- Have lunch at the lodge in the park and set out for a game drive through the park, where you will spot various wildlife, such as zebras, that are found almost everywhere in the park.
- Later in the evening, proceed to the lodge for dinner and spend a night.

Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- At 6:30 am, begin your journey to the southwestern part of Bwindi Forest, passing via Mbarara town, endowed with beautiful landscapes. Also, see various rolling hills with terraces.
- Upon reaching the park, check-in at the lodge of your choice and relax there the whole evening as you get ready for the next door.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking & Community Walk- Bwindi Impenetrable
- Enjoy breakfast at 6:30 am and transfer to the park headquarters with packed lunch to get a briefing by professional Park rangers.
- At 8:00 am, accompany the park rangers as you enter the mist forest to trek for mountain gorillas. You might also need a walking stick if you are not physically fit enough. Also, consider using porters to carry your luggage. Trekking may take between 2 to 8 hours. The moment you see and start interacting with the gorillas, only one will be given to you.
- Return to the lodge to unwind. Later in the evening, take a walk in various communities, such as in the Batwa community, where you will interact with them and learn a lot from them before you retire at the lodge.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha Sector
- After getting transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoy your breakfast passing through the Ishasha sector, home to tree-climbing lions. The park has various wildlife species such as elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, lions etc.
- Have lunch at the lodge and go for a late afternoon game drive to see the various animals and birds.

Day 5: Game Drive & Boat Cruise - Kazinga Channel
- Have breakfast at 6:00 am and immediately start the game drive to view the morning risers like the lions, solitary buffaloes, kobs etc. It is a great time as you can easily spot these animals closely.
- Later, get back to the lodge for lunch and get ready for the afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, home to various birds like malachite kingfishers, pink backed pelicans, and animals such as crocodiles, elephants, hippos. Cruising on the Kazinga is one of the most eye-catching activities in the park.
- Return to the lodge for dinner & overnight.

Day 6: Baboon Cliff & Departure to Kibale
- Have a tasty breakfast and head to a morning game drive. Explore the baboon cliffs, where you will be introduced to amazing and beautiful views.
- Enjoy lunch at the lodge and embark on your journey to Kibale Forest National Park, home to chimpanzees. It is approximately 2 to 3 hours’ drive. Arrive in the evening, have a delicious dinner and spend an overnight.

Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland Walk
- Have an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters with enough bottled drinking water, where you will be briefed about chimpanzee trekking.
- After the briefing, start on a trek through the forest at around 8:00 am, guided by an armed park ranger and see the chimpanzees in their natural habitat. You will also spot other primates like golden monkeys, grey checked Mangabeys and bush babies, among others. Also, spot several birds.
- After trekking, return and have delicious lunch at the lodge. Then, go for a walk in the Bigodi wetland in the afternoon. Meet different people that stay there also spot different birds like the Great Blue Turaco and more primates like the bush pigs, otters, baboons, among others.

Day 8: Return to Kampala
- After your hefty breakfast, leave for Kampala via Mubende, where you will see the beautiful scenic views found in this area. Enjoy lunch in Mubende and thereafter continue to Kampala. Your driver-guide will either leave you at your accommodation facility in Kampala or take you to the Entebbe International Airport just in case you have a flight back home.
