3-Day Gorilla Trekking Tour in Uganda with Bwindi and Village Walk

• Depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After breakfast, set off early from Kampala and travel by road through southwest Uganda with your guide. Cross the Equator, continue to Mbarara for lunch, and then drive through savannah grasslands to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The scenic journey through the Kigezi Highlands, known as the Switzerland of Uganda, along with banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle, leads you to the Gorilla Sanctuary of Bwindi.

Overnight at Gorilla Resort / Buhoma Community Bandas (Full Board).

• Have an early morning breakfast.

• After a short briefing by the guides, proceed through the dense rainforest undergrowth and thick creepers to track these endangered mammals. Sitting with the most peaceful, rarest, and endangered of all the apes is a fascinating experience.

• After the one hour allowed with the giants, return to the lodge.

• If you have the afternoon free, enjoy a guided village walk to nearby communities to see and experience different aspects of Ugandan life, culture, and lifestyle.

• After breakfast, return to Kampala, arriving in the late afternoon.
