Itinerary

Day 1: Entebbe to Bwindi National Park
Meet your local tour guide at the airport for pick-up and transfer.
Make a stopover at the Uganda equator crossing Kayabwe for an amazing and exciting photo shoot. Water experiments can be carried out to justify the geographical separation between the southern and northern hemispheres.
Head to Igongo cultural centre before Mbarara town for lunch.
Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day at Bwindi National Park
Have an early morning breakfast and get a packed lunch before you head for the briefing by the park guide at the headquarters.
Hike into the forest in search of the fascinating mountain gorillas. Get a chance to look at their deep rare eyes, their way of feeding among other interesting features about the ancient apes that are endangered in the world. Gorilla tracking may take up to 8 hours depending on the weather and where the gorillas are at that particular time. Bwindi features a minimum of 400 mountain gorillas in which 12 groups are habituated for tracking. There are 4 regions from which the tracking is done i.e., Ruhijja, Buhoma, Nkuringo and Rushaga.

Day 3: Return to Entebbe
Transfer to the Entebbe airport after having breakfast.
