Itinerary

1. Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

   • In the morning, you will be picked from you Hotel in Entebbe and set off to Bwindi Impenetrable National park. 
   • You will make a photo stop at the equator and continue to have lunch in Mbarara. In afternoon after lunch, Proceed with your journey enjoying the beautiful scenery. We will arrive Bwindi Impenetrable forest early evening to relax at the lodge in preparation for the next day’s trekking, Dinner and overnight stay.

   Accommodation: BUHOMA COMMUNITY REST CAMP OR an Equivalent Lodge

   Meal Plan: All Meals included.

   Driving time is approximately 9-10 hours.

2. Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park & Community Tour

   • After an early breakfast, you will attend the briefing by the ranger guide at the park offices. 
   • You will then enter the Bwindi forest for your gorilla trekking adventure. Trekking may take 3-6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in their natural habitat. 
   • You will be allowed to stay with the gorillas for a maximum of 1 hour once you find them. In the afternoon, you may go for Community walk to visit Batwa people who once lived in the forest with gorillas before the government decided to protect Bwindi gorillas and other wildlife. 
   • Return to the lodge for Dinner and overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Travel from Bwindi forest to Entebbe Airport for Departure

   • In the morning after breakfast, transfer from Bwindi Impenetrable forest to Entebbe for departure to your next destination. 
   • You will have lunch along the way and make stops for shopping and stretching your legs, arriving Entebbe early in the evening to check in for your departure flight or you will be dropped at your Hotel depending on the next program.

   Transfer time to Entebbe from Bwindi forest is (Approximately 9-10 hours).

   End of 3 Days Safari.
