Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport – Transfer to Jinja

   • Meet your driver-guide upon arrival at Entebbe Airport.

   • Receive a warm welcome and briefing about the safari.

   • Drive to Jinja, enjoying scenic views along the way.

   • Check in at the lodge upon arrival.

   • Enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

2. Day 2: Whitewater Rafting on the Nile – Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

   • Wake up early for breakfast.

   • Transfer to the rafting base for a safety briefing and gear fitting.

   • Enjoy an exciting 3 to 4-hour whitewater rafting adventure.

   • Have lunch after the activity.

   • Depart for Lake Mburo National Park in western Uganda.

   • Arrive in the evening and check in at the lodge.

   • Have dinner and overnight rest.

3. Day 3: Horseback Riding Safari – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

   • Take breakfast at the lodge.

   • Head to Mihingo Lodge for a 2-hour horseback riding safari in the savannah.

   • View animals such as zebras, impalas, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and Uganda kobs.

   • Return to the lodge for lunch.

   • Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

   • Visit the Batwa community and learn about their forest-dwelling heritage.

   • Proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

4. Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

   • Take an early breakfast and transfer to park headquarters for a briefing.

   • Join a group of 8 trekkers with a ranger and guide to track gorillas.

   • Spend up to one hour observing and photographing the gorillas.

   • Return to the starting point, receive your trekking certificate.

   • Drive to Lake Bunyonyi, known for its 29 scenic islands.

   • Enjoy dinner and overnight by the lake.

5. Day 5: Morning Canoe Cruise – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

   • Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector.

   • Look out for the rare tree-climbing lions.

6. Day 6: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel

   • Return to the lodge for lunch.

   • Enjoy an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.

   • View hippos, crocodiles, waterbirds, and wildlife along the riverbanks.

   • Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

7. Day 7: Transfer to Entebbe or Kigali – End of Safari

   • Take breakfast and check out from the lodge.

   • Arrive at the airport or hotel and bid farewell to your guide.

   • End of the 7-Day Uganda Safari Adventure.
