Description
Our 6 days safari takes you to Kibale Forest National Park to see chimpanzees and various species of monkeys, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Kazinga Channel renowned for their diversity of wildlife, birdlife, and picturesque geographical features. This safari also takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to see the Mountain Gorillas and to Lake Bunyonyi for boat rides with opportunities for spotting many water birds and wildlife and to enjoy cultural exposure. The safari crowns with a visit to Lake Mburo National Park for game drives and wild nature walks. An experience at the Equator will be a plus.
Itinerary

Day 1: Journey to Kibale National Park
- After an early morning breakfast, our driver guide will pick you up. Hit the road to Kibale National Park.
- This 5-6 hours journey will get you reaching Kibale National Park in the afternoon.
- Stopover at Fort Portal town for lunch. Upon arrival at Kibale National Park, you can opt to go for a community walk or visit the beautiful crater lakes region for a spectacular view.
- Return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trek and Queen Elizabeth
- After an early morning breakfast, you will head to Kanyanchu Tourist Center at 8 am.
- Briefing on the rules and regulations of chimpanzee tracking.
- Kibale National Park has the greatest concentration of primates in East Africa with chimpanzees being the most famous.
- The trek takes about 2-3 hours.
- During this time you will have the opportunity to see various primates, bird species and other animals.
- If you encounter any chimpanzee, you will have one hour in their presence.
- After the trekking, you will head back to the accommodation for lunch and relaxation.
- Later in the afternoon, you will hit the road to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Reaching late in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Safari and Cruise in Queen Elizabeth
- After an early morning breakfast, our driver guide will pick you up. Embark on a game drive.
- Closer look at lions, elephants, buffalos, and Ugandan kob among others.
- Return to your lodge for lunch. Later afternoon go for a boat cruise at the Kazinga channel.
- The 42km Kazinga Channel joins Lake Edward and Lake George.
- Offers a high concentration of hippos and birds.
- After the boat cruise, you will go back to the accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Park
- Wake up early for breakfast. Get ready for your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
- This 6-7 hour journey will have you arriving at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the afternoon.
- Have lunch and relax at your lodge. Alternatively, opt to go for a community walk.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking and Lake Bunyonyi
- After an early morning breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters.
- Join other trekkers for a briefing on the rules and regulations of gorilla trekking.
- Get into the thick forest to start your trekking experience with a ranger.
- The trekking takes about 1-6 hours.
- If you come across a gorilla family, you will have one hour in their presence.
- You will be surely amazed by how these primates and humans have a lot in common.
- Return to the accommodation for lunch. Set off to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation.

Day 6: Return to Entebbe Airport
- After an early morning relaxed breakfast, you will hit the road.
- Have lunch en route at Igongo cultural center. Stop over at the equator for some pictures.
- Continue your journey to Entebbe International Airport.
- Reach late afternoon to catch your flight at 18hr back home.
