Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe - Mbarara
- 4 AM - In the early morning, we pick you up from the guesthouse or hotel and leave for the South West of Uganda.
- The first part of the journey takes us through central Uganda.
- Stop in Mbarara for lunch, we continue on the last stretch through a beautiful landscape also defined as the "Switzerland of Africa": mountains, lakes, hills with cultivated terraces, tropical rainforest and bamboo forest.
- On the last hill, the landscape unfolds beneath us, taking in the vast planes between Uganda, Rwanda and Congo, with the Virunga volcanoes dominating the view.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking - Batwa Community Interaction
- 7:45 AM - Receive a briefing.
- Start the tracking.
- Once you have found the gorillas, you can spend up to one hour with them.
- You will be expected back to the starting point by 7.00 pm at the latest.
After the Gorilla tracking, you will visit the Batwa community. The Batwa are famed for their music and dance, and their historic, subterranean council chamber in Garama Cave provides the setting for an unforgettable performance. The Batwa trail is a celebration of the forest culture of the "first people." It is impossible, however, to ignore the fact that Batwa's life has greatly changed.

Day 3: Kisoro - Sabinyo Volcano
- Start your day with a choice of exciting volcano climbs:
- Muhavura Volcano: 8-hour hike covering 12 km with a 1700m elevation gain.
- Gahinga Volcano: 6-hour hike covering 8 km with an 1100m elevation gain.
- Alternatively, explore Sabino Gorge on a 4-hour hike covering 6 km with no elevation gain.
- Visit the Mgahinga National Park for a nature walk.
- Enjoy a cultural village walk with a local guide through the Bufumbira tribe’s land.
- Choose between:
- Sabinyo Volcano: Climb all three peaks in an 8-hour hike covering 14 km with a 1300m elevation gain.
- Hiking in Mgahinga: Visit the viewpoint and Garama Cave (Pygmy Cave) with a 4-hour hike covering 1 km and 4 km, respectively.
- Join a bird walk in Mgahinga, starting at 10 AM and lasting until 4-5 PM.
- Walk to Lake Mutanda for a relaxing evening. Enjoy canoeing on the lake and visit Python Island.
- Start your day with a choice of exciting volcano climbs:

Day 4: Kampala or Entebbe Departure
- Early in the morning after breakfast, you will travel back to Kampala/Entebbe.
- On the way back to the city you will have lunch in Mbarara town.
- And after Masaka, there will be an opportunity to stop at the Equator for photo shoots, buy souvenirs and have tea or coffee.
- We will then bring you to a guesthouse, campsite or hotel of your choice in Kampala or Entebbe or if you continue your holiday somewhere else.
