Description
Experience Uganda's excellent mix during this 7-day Uganda safari with classic game drives on the savannah searching for lions and zebras. On this safari, you will go for game drives on the savannas in Queen Elizabeth National Park and Lake Mburo National Park, plus go trekking Gorillas in Bwindi, an impenetrable national park, then have a relaxed evening at the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, also referred to as the place of little birds to relax after the gorilla trekking.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival At Entebbe Airport
- Our representative and your tour guide for the 7-day safari will welcome you. Greet and transfer you to the booked hotel around Kampala city centre or within Entebbe, depending on the arrival time.
- You have some time to rest at the hotel after your flight. You may choose to transfer straight to Queen Elizabeth National.

Day 2: Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Wake up early and enjoy a morning breakfast from the hotel, after which your guide will pick you up at 7:30 am, will brief you, and you will embark on the 6-hour journey to Queen Elizabeth. Along the way, you will have a few stopovers at the Equator, where you will take enough photographs and in Mbarara City for your lunch.
- Afterwards, proceed to the Park as you drive through the spectacular landscape of open grasslands, Ankole long-horned cattle, tea plantations, the Rift Valley Escarpment, and various woodlands.
- Reach the park in the late afternoon and have a game drive as you drive to your lodge. Have dinner and then rest there overnight.

Day 3: Game-Drive And Boat-Cruise Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Explore Queen Elizabeth National Park in the cool morning with an early game drive that exposes us to diverse animals. Prominent five members of elephants, buffalos, big cats- lions, leopards more times in the evening, warthogs- hunchback carnivals like hyenas are spotted along the circuits as we drive along and many more species that are residents of this park. There is a rich birdlife, especially our version of storks, in the wetland spots as we reach the Flamingoes in the salt lakes.
- After lunch, we head for a classic highlight of the 3 pm 2-hour boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel, a 36 km channel linking Lake George to Lake Edward. From the boat, you can spot land and water-adapted hippopotamuses yawning and some slashing canines to each other, the National Geographical Society killing machine, the Nile Crocodile gaping along the banks, Savannah version of pigs the warthog- Pumba of the award-winning Lion King are a hallmark sign in this animal home as well as many different birds.

Day 4: Trekking With Ishasha Climbing Lions And Chimps - Bwindi Forest National Park
- Leave the lodge early for chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu forest. Then, after trekking, you will continue heading to the Ishasha sector part of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
- We will drive off in this adventurous, vast savanna area with Topis and the southern version of Elephants to hopefully get the lions high in the fig tree branches, then transfer to Bwindi mountain after the game drives through the neck of the impenetrable forest.
- The journey takes us through a changing landscape from savanna via cultivated hills to forest-covered mountains. (If we reach early, we can walk and mix with the locals or relax with the Orphans' group performers.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking And Batwa Experience
- Have an early breakfast surrounded by Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, the home to the forest giants that are cousins to human beings, the gorillas. We have reached a highlight of the safari as you, this day, will go gorilla trekking in a group with a specialised guide, walk through the fascinating jungle and spend one hour with the Mountain Gorillas. This Impenetrable Forest contains birds, butterflies, plant species, forest hogs, Elephants, Statungas, and Dikers.
- After the gorilla trek, we shall transfer to beautiful Lake Bunyonyi through cultivated hills. We check into a lake 1840m above sea level in the afternoon. Here, you can relax after the trek and even swim if it's not too cold for you (the lake is accessible by bilharzia, hippos and crocodiles.

Day 6: Transfer To Lake Mburo The ‘Zebra magnet’, Game-Drive
- We leave Lake Bunyonyi after breakfast and drive towards Lake Mburo National Park. We reach the park in time for lunch at the lodge.
- In the afternoon, we game-drive to view zebras, topis, warthogs, cape buffaloes and Impalas, zebras, waterbucks, birds and buffaloes in their day-break jungle life.

Day 7: Early Morning Safaris Walk in Lake Mburo NP and Transfer to Entebbe
- Start the day with a safari walk, getting you close to nature. Visit the hyena's den to see leopards, zebras, waterbucks, birds and buffaloes in their day-break jungle life.
- After the safari walk, you have breakfast at the lodge before setting off for Entebbe as we have reached the end of the 7-day Uganda safari.
- We reach Entebbe in the afternoon, and you can arrange an evening flight or add a night in Entebbe to fly the next day.
