  • After a short break, the guide will take you around Kampala for a city tour to visit historical and cultural sites. These may include the Uganda Parliamentary Building, Kabaka's Palace, Kabaka Man-Made Lake, Uganda Museum, Kasubi Tombs, religious cathedrals, and the Bahai Temple, among others, before returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
2
Day 02

Transfer to Gulu via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

  • After breakfast, you will be transferred to Gulu town for an overnight stay. Along the way, you will take a break to track rhinos at the Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch in Nakasongola District, home to the only wild rhinos in Uganda. Presently, the sanctuary is home to twenty-two (22) southern white rhinos.
3
Day 03

Journey to Kidepo Valley National Park

  • In the morning, transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park, where you will have a short game drive in the evening to see animals like zebras, giraffes, caracal, lesser kudu, and mountain reedbuck, among others.

Day 04

Full-Day Game Drive in Kidepo Valley National Park

  • Traversed by large sand rivers, Kidepo Valley National Park is renowned for its distinctive composition of wild game co-existing with dry mountain forests and open savannah. It is home to over 77 mammal species and almost 500 bird species. As a result, the variety of animal species in the park is equally abundant, including many that are found nowhere else in Uganda, such as cheetahs. Therefore, on day four, you will spot as many animal and bird species as possible during game drives around the park for the whole day, including the rare/endemic ones that are nowhere else in Uganda, such as the cheetah.

Dinner and overnight at either Apoka Safari Lodge.

Day 05

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

  • In the morning, you will embark on the journey to Murchison Falls National Park, currently the most visited park in Uganda, where you will do a game drive in the evening. While in Murchison, both the game drives and the launch trips offer an opportunity to come across distinct animal and birdlife. A game drive around the Buligi game tracks on the northern bank with our trained guide is a fantastic way to see and photograph the wide range of animals in the Nile Valley, including lions, hyenas, elephants, giraffes, and probably the leopard.

Day 06

Top of the Falls Hike or Game Drive and Return to Kampala

  • After breakfast in the morning, you will embark on a hike to the top of Murchison Falls to feel and witness the world's strongest falls. Alternatively, you can go for a morning game drive to see more of the animals that you may have missed during the evening game drive the previous day.
