Day 01

Arrival in Kigali

• Transfer to your accommodation for relaxation and an overnight stay.

Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Nyungwe Forest

• Enjoy a morning Kigali City Tour, exploring the national museum, local markets, art and craft shops, and the genocide memorial ground.
• Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park, known for its stunning beauty and diverse wildlife.
• Optional: En route, visit the King's Palace Museum.

Day 03

Chimp Trekking and Canopy Walk in Nyungwe

• Undertake chimp trekking in Nyungwe Forest National Park.
• In the afternoon, enjoy a canopy walk experience at the Uwinka Information Center.
• Immerse yourself in this tremendous natural forest, home to various primates such as chimpanzees and black-and-white colobus monkeys.

Day 04

Nyungwe to Volcanoes National Park

• Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your Nyungwe accommodation.
• Drive to Volcanoes National Park, passing through scenic landscapes.
• Check in to your accommodation, relax, and enjoy dinner.
• Volcanoes National Park, nestled in the northwest of Rwanda, shares borders with Virunga National Park in the DRC and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda.

Day 05

Golden Monkey Trekking and Transfer to Bwindi

• Enjoy golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park.
• Drive to Bwindi in Uganda via the Cyanika Border Post.
• Overnight near Bwindi National Park in preparation for the next day's gorilla trekking.
• The rare golden monkey species in Volcanoes National Park is also listed as endangered, with habituated groups available for trekking.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Rushaga Sector

• Enjoy gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest's Rushaga Sector.
• Return to your accommodation for rest after a strenuous day.
• Bwindi Forest offers a spectacular, steeply forested landscape that provides a dramatic backdrop for gorilla trekking.

Drive to Ishasha and Queen Elizabeth National Park

• Drive to Ishasha in Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions.
• Optional: Enjoy a late afternoon-to-evening game drive/safari in the Kasenyi plains.
• Queen Elizabeth National Park's Ishasha sector is famous for its unique tree-climbing lion population.

Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Trip

• In the afternoon, take a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel while observing wildlife.

Queen Elizabeth Safari to Kibale and Bigodi Wetlands

Kibale via Hoima to Murchison Falls

• Travel from Kibale Forest via Hoima to Murchison Falls National Park.

Ziwa Rhino Tracking and Transfer to Entebbe

• Travel to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for on-foot rhino tracking.
• Transfer to Entebbe Airport for a recommended flight at 18:00 or later.
• Optional: Excursion to tourist sites in or around Kampala City if interested (extra cost).
• Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary provides a unique opportunity to track rhinos on foot while contributing to conservation efforts.
