Itinerary

1. Day 1 - Arrival in Kigali

   • Meet the tour guide at Kigali international airport and begin the tour.
   • Go on a city tour, and visit the Kigali Genocide Museum before setting off for Volcanoes National Park. 
   • Upon arrival, head to the Lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

   Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

2. Day 2 - Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

   • Start the day's tour early in the morning with breakfast and packed snacks. 
   • Drive to the park headquarters to learn about the gorilla family you will visit. The park authorities will arrange the day’s visitors into groups before being led by the ranger guide in the forest for a lifetime Gorilla trekking in the forest. The trekking duration is not certain due to many determinant factors that may include the gorilla movements as they search for food. 
   • Spend an hour with them before coming back to the lodge with an option of visiting the cultural village in the evening.

   Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

3. Day 3 - Golden Monkey Tracking & Return to Kigali

   • After breakfast, we will drive to the park offices again, this time for Golden Monkey tracking. 
   • While your guide gets busy with the registration process, enjoy Rwandan traditional dance. 
   • Then, you will be accompanied by a ranger guide for tracking. Spend an hour with these endangered primates. 
   • Get transferred to Kigali for your flight back home.
