Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival

   • Arrive at Entebbe International Airport; you will be the driver/guide. He will brief you about the four-day Ziwa Rhino and Murchison Falls Uganda safari, and then the driver will transfer you to your hotel, where you will have time to relax while enjoying the cool breeze from the Lake. Later, have dinner and overnight.

2. Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park - Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

   • After early morning breakfast at the hotel at 6:30 am, embark on a 305km (4 – 5 hours) drive northwest of Uganda to Murchison Falls National Park, Masindi town, with a visit to Ziwa rhino sanctuary, the proud home to Uganda’s only wild white rhino totalling to 32 in number.
   • Embark on 2 hours on foot rhino trekking in the company of an experienced ranger guide. You will have lunch in Masindi town and enter Murchison Falls through the kichumbanyobo gate. Retire to an assigned place of accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

   • After breakfast, you will set out for the game drive on the park's Northern sector early in the morning. Expect to encounter animals like Giraffes, Lions, Elephants, baboons and several different antelopes. Return to the lodge for lunch.
   • Later in the afternoon, we set out for the 3 hours boat cruise on the Albert Nile to the Bottom of the falls. Expect to see animals like Hippos, crocodiles, Water bucks, river bank elephants, Buffaloes, antelopes and many water birds like a yellow-billed stork, Abyssinian ground hornbill, squacco heron, and African skimmer. You will reach the “Devil’s Cauldron”. You will see the majestic, mighty Nile River forcing itself through a narrow gorge before dropping at 45 meters. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

4. Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer Back to Kampala

   • After breakfast, you will set out for the chimpanzee trekking in Kaniyo Papidi in Budongo forest; rangers will search these chimps as they give you information about the other primates that you will encounter on five days of Murchison Falls Safari.
   • And later, you will return to the lodge for lunch and after going for white water Rafting, later go back for dinner and overnight.

5. Day 5: Departure

   • After having breakfast, check out from your hotel; our guide will be waiting to transfer you to Entebbe airport to catch your flight back home; with all the unforgettable memories and experiences from your adventurous safari, you will say your last goodbyes to the pearl of Africa.
