Itinerary

1. Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park

   • Head for Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through villages, with a stopover at Mbarara. 
   • After arriving, admire the lush green scenery and the jumping antelopes of the park before checking in at Park View Safari Lodge or Irungu Forest Safari Lodge.

2. Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

   • Go for a game drive expecting to see several indigenous animals like the Ugandan Kobs, water-bucks, and warthogs.
   • After that, take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, and see hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles, elephants, and a range of beautiful birds coming to the waterhole to drink or bathe.

   Dinner and overnight at Parkview Safari Lodge or Irungu Forest Safari Lodge.

3. Day 3: Explore Kalinzu Forest

   • Head to Kalinzu Forest and see chimps, 9 different species of monkeys like the black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys and bushbabies
   • You can also see butterflies and various bird species like the native Great blue Turaco, Joyful Greenbul, the Olive Long-tailed Cuckoo, and the superb Black bee-eater.
   • Set off to Lake Mburo National Park and go on an evening game drive, sighting various animals like zebras, antelopes like water-bucks, Impala herds, Bush-bucks and many more. 

   We later head to rest at our accommodation for dinner and overnight in Mihingo lodge or Rwakobo Rock.

4. Safari walk in Lake Mburo National park

   • Embark on an exciting road trip back to Kampala, with a stopover at the Equator line, where you can take beautiful photographs.
   • Arrive in Kampala and transfer to the airport to board your flight back home.
